Terms of Service

What Save Barcode does

Save Barcode helps you save and display static barcodes, such as loyalty, membership, library, ticket, and parking codes. It is not a payment service, bank, card issuer, or identity-verification service. Do not use it for payment cards, tap-to-pay credentials, rotating security codes, or information that you are not permitted to store.

Your account and content

You are responsible for the barcode values, names, notes, and images you add, and for keeping your device and account access secure. You may only add content you own or are authorized to use. Do not upload unlawful content or content that infringes another person’s rights.

If you choose to protect your cards with an account, we use your email address and a one-time code to verify access. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.

Bulk imports

Bulk import lets signed-in users select screenshots for barcode detection. Before an upload, you must confirm that you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Notice. Selected images are retained privately with your import so we can provide the feature and account backup.

Save Barcode does not currently use artificial intelligence to analyze imported images or use them to train models. If that changes, we will describe the new purpose clearly and request any required consent before using existing images that way.

Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, or improve Save Barcode. We aim to keep the service useful, but do not guarantee that every barcode, device, scanner, browser, or offline situation will work. Keep your own copy of anything important; export and backup options are provided for that purpose.

Acceptable use

You may not interfere with the service, attempt to bypass its security or access controls, use it to harm others, or use it in a way that creates unreasonable load or risk. We may limit or suspend access when necessary to protect the service, users, or others.

Disclaimers and liability

Save Barcode is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that a barcode will be accepted by a merchant or scanner, or that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Save Barcode is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Privacy

Our Privacy Notice explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the service providers that process it for us.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page. If a change materially affects how you use the service, we will provide reasonable notice in the app or by another appropriate method.
